until 3 August
With your feet in the clay – but this time for everyone. On Monday 3 August 2026, the De Weijver event site in Hoogwoud will once again be the venue for the Opmeer Agricultural Show.
This West Frisian tradition has existed since 1889. What once started as a cattle auction grew into the largest agricultural event in North Holland. A day full of animals, demonstrations, activities and encounters. Just outside, between farmers, families and curious visitors.
For children, there is plenty to do. For farmers, it is a well-known meeting place. And for everyone in between? A great day to experience farm life up close.
