A masterpiece you don't hear live every day. On Sunday 20 September 2026, Haarlem Voices will perform Bach's Hohe Messe in the Westerkerk in Enkhuizen.
The choir will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. They will not do this by halves: with one of the greatest works in Western choral music. Bach completed the Mass in b, as the Hohe Messe is also called, just before his death. A grand work full of choruses, arias, duets and instrumental solos.
After the first performance in the Grote of St Bavokerk in Haarlem, this anniversary project is coming to Enkhuizen. A great opportunity to experience Bach up close. Impressive, hushed and grand at the same time.
