Three days of art.
From Friday 4 to Sunday 6 September 2026, Hoorn will be all about art and culture. The historic city centre will be transformed into one huge stage, featuring music, theatre, film, dance, heritage and visual arts – all spread throughout the city.
The weekend kicks off on Friday evening at Schouwburg Het Park. On Saturday, the neighbourhood festivals move to the Huesmolen and the Kersenboogerd. And in the evening, music echoes across the water during the Hoorn Harbour Concerts.
On Sunday, the Art and Culture Market winds its way through the town centre. More than 175 stalls form a long ribbon of paintings, photography, sculptures and other quirky finds. The artists themselves are there to meet visitors – which makes it all the easier if you want to find out more.
Hoorn’s museums, theatres, cinemas and cultural associations are also making their voices heard. This way, you can immediately discover what the new cultural season has in store – from well-known names to new talent, and from small performances to a lively harbour concert.
