Who is this a good site for?

This park is ideal for families, anglers, walkers and cyclists. It’s also the perfect spot if you want to take your dog on holiday. Are you looking for a holiday park that isn’t too busy, but rather one with plenty of space and water all around you? Then you’ll soon feel right at home here.

When will you visit here?

Spring and summer are ideal if you want to get out on the water. In autumn, things quieten down and you can simply stroll across the dyke towards De Vooroever nature reserve. This is also a lovely base for a long weekend outside the holiday periods.

What to expect.

You’ll wake up to the sound of birds in the background and water right on your doorstep. Children play outside, whilst anglers cast their lines or a small boat sets out onto the water. In the park, you’ll find a café-restaurant and you can hire boats and SUPs. And with the IJsselmeer just a short distance away, a refreshing walk is always within easy reach.

Practical information

It’s easy to spend a long weekend or a whole holiday here. The park is spacious and set in green, water-rich surroundings. Parking is available at the accommodation. Dogs are welcome in various accommodation options on request and are permitted on a lead within the park. Just outside the park, you can walk straight to De Vooroever and the Nesbos. The café serves snacks and drinks.

When are you welcome?

You can book a stay all year round. The reception has its own opening hours. Please check these in advance if you’re arriving late.

Our tip for your visit

Cross the dyke around sunset. From De Vooroever, you can look out over the IJsselmeer. On clear evenings, it stays light there for a long time.

Tips in Westfriesland

Combine your stay with a visit to Medemblik or Enkhuizen. Or hop on a bike and head for the West Frisian Omringdijk. Do also take a look at the harbours along the IJsselmeer. Just make sure to check the opening times of the places you want to visit in advance.
