Discover Enkhuizen on a treasure hunt. Especially for children, there’s a ‘Crack the Code’ trail taking in special spots in Enkhuizen. As well as questions and tasks, it’s packed with all sorts of fun facts. It’s interesting for adults too. After about an hour and a half of walking and exploring, you’ll be back at the starting point, where you can try to crack the secret code. Success? Then pop into the tourist information centre to collect your ‘detective’s certificate’.

The children's playground Emmapark is an outdoor playground for children, equipped with various playground equipment. Located in Queen Emma Park, it is next to Koekenbier restaurant and the miniature golf course. The children's farm is also just a stone's throw away. It is the perfect location for a fun day out for children in the fresh air!
Since 1931, Playground Association Kindervreugde has been providing a cosy and safe playground for young and old to play carefree! Over the years, the old-fashioned character of the playground has been preserved.

At the Zuiderzee Museum, history is brought to life. Discover what everyday life was like in the towns and villages around the former Zuiderzee and explore stories of fishing, crafts, work and life on the water.
In ‘t Zuiderzeedorp, you can stroll past old buildings, watch crafts being practised and meet people who demonstrate how things used to be done. For example, learn to write with a quill pen or make a little boat out of a clog. And at Het Schathuys, you can delve even deeper into history. Climb aboard an old fishing boat or set off with a torch and a magnifying glass to unravel the mystery.
Tip: set aside a whole day for the Zuiderzee Museum. This isn’t just a quick stop, but a place where you’ll want to linger.
