The museum, Castle Café, terrace, castle square and herb garden are open during public opening hours. The castle does not mention a fixed visiting time. Parking information, dog policy and dietary options are not clearly stated on the website. The building has thresholds, obstacles and awkward stairs. When are you welcome?
Radboud Castle is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. It is closed on Mondays. On quiet days, the castle may close earlier.

Radboud Castle was built around 1288 on the orders of Count Floris V. It was one of the castles he used to consolidate his power over the West Frisians. Of these five castles, Radboud Castle is the only one to have survived.

Yes. Children can listen to the audio tour narrated by Gerrie de Leeuwdraak and play in the play loft. In addition, the castle regularly organises activities, such as medieval encampments, games days and demonstrations featuring birds of prey. The programme varies, so please check the calendar in advance.
