The renovated stolp farmhouse has been given a new lease of life as a small-scale guesthouse. The old beams were left in place. The interior design is light, fresh and Scandinavian in style. The result? A rural stay, but with all the trimmings.
Sleeping beneath the old beamsAt De Zuiderstolp, you can choose from two rooms and an apartment. De Weidegang accommodates two to four people. De Hooiberg sleeps two or three people. Prefer to be completely on your own? Apartment De Uitkijk is suitable for two people.
Each accommodation has its own unique atmosphere, but the basic design is the same: light colours, natural materials and colourful details. The wooden beams are a reminder that you’re still sleeping in a genuine stolp farmhouse. Fortunately, without a draught blowing past your pillow.

Peace, space and fruit treesThere’s plenty of land surrounding the farm, with greenery, animals and fruit trees. From the B&B, you can easily walk or cycle along dykes and across vast polders. Yet you’re not out of the way. Hoorn is about a ten-minute drive away and Alkmaar around twenty minutes. This makes it easy to alternate the tranquillity of the countryside with a day in the city.
A chance to really unwindNot peaceful enough yet? Then book the ‘Weilandwellness’. There, you can enjoy a hot tub or sauna. Slip on your bathrobe, take in the green surroundings and do absolutely nothing else. Electric bikes are also available for hire. You can book breakfast at the B&B. If you’re staying in the flat, breakfast isn’t available, so you’ll have to cook your own eggs there.

De Zuiderstolp has two guest rooms and one flat. ‘De Weidegang’ is suitable for two to four people. ‘De Hooiberg’ accommodates two to three people. The ‘De Uitkijk’ flat is designed for two people.
Yes, you can book breakfast with your guest room. Breakfast costs €15 per adult per day. A reduced rate applies for children up to the age of ten. Breakfast is not available with the apartment.
Yes. At Weilandwellness, you can book a hot tub or sauna. The hot tub is available to hire by half-day and the sauna by the two-hour session. Bathrobes are included.
