The Streekbad has been a firm favourite for swimming fun in Bovenkarspel for years – both in and out of the water. With water slides, sunbathing areas and pools for different age groups, it’s the sort of place where the day just flies by.

A visit often lasts a couple of hours, but on warm days you can easily end up staying longer. The Streekbad has various pools, sunbathing areas and play facilities. Parking is available at the swimming pool. Dogs are not permitted within the swimming pool grounds, with the exception of assistance dogs. Various accessibility facilities are in place. For food and drink, you can visit the on-site catering facilities.

Combine a visit to Het Streekbad with a trip to Het Streekbos or a stroll through Bovenkarspel. Molen Ceres and the Orion Public Observatory are also nearby. Do check the opening times of the venues you wish to visit in advance.
