You’ll find this inn at the historic harbour, right in the centre of Enkhuizen. The Drommedaris, the Zuiderzee Museum and the old town are all within walking distance.

Inside, there’s the relaxed atmosphere of a proper traditional pub. Wooden features, atmospheric lighting and enough beer to give you pause for thought.

You can pop in for lunch, drinks or dinner. The menu changes with the seasons and offers meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. There are also suitable dishes for children on the menu. Fancy a hearty piece of meat? They prepare a different steak dish each day on the Josper grill. Just ask the waiting staff. Dinner dishes can also be ordered during the day, but there’s a separate lunch menu available from 12.00 to 16.30. Lunch without limits, in other words.

Herberg de Compagnie describes itself as Enkhuizen speciality beer café. You can choose from a selection of permanent and rotating draught beers, as well as an extensive bottled beer list. The team will be happy to help you find a beer that pairs well with your meal. Prefer wine? They’ve thought of that too.

Herberg de Compagnie is situated at Spoorstraat 10–14 in Enkhuizen. Check-in is from 3.00 pm. Check-out is by 10.30 am at the latest. With a standard rate, you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. A non-refundable booking cannot be cancelled.

When booking a room, you can reserve a table straight away. That’s handy, as trying to find somewhere to eat on an empty stomach isn’t exactly efficient.
