At 't Woudmeer Outdoor Swimming Pool in Hoogwoud, you can enjoy a lovely swim outdoors. Do some laps, splash about with the children or take a break on the grass. There’s plenty to do away from the water for children of all ages.
’t Woudmeer Swimming Pool is an open-air swimming pool on De Weijver in Hoogwoud. You can go for a leisurely swim or swim laps there. Swimming lessons and other swimming activities are also organised.
So on hot days, you don’t have to look far to cool off. Grab your towel, slip on your flip-flops and off you go – straight into the water.

Next to the paddling pool stands the Fairytale Tree, which can spray children with water. For toddlers and pre-schoolers, there is a play area and a water table in the sandpit. Older children can enjoy the football cage, table tennis tables and the volleyball net.
So there’s plenty to do. Even if you don’t fancy another dip for the moment.

Activities throughout the seasonAs well as regular swimming, ’t Woudmeer organises various activities. In 2026, the programme will include, amongst other things, the Zwem4Daagse and the annual dog splash. The Zwem4Daagse takes place from 7 to 11 September. On 13 September, the swimming season draws to a close with the dog splash.
The programme changes every year, so be sure to check the calendar before you go.
