The campsite is situated in Wervershoof, close to the IJsselmeer and Medemblik. It offers space and privacy, but there’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area. Walking, cycling, fishing or heading out onto the water? The choice is yours.
Camping Ariënstocht opened in 2021 and is spacious. The pitches offer plenty of privacy and the campsite has a range of facilities.
And here, they don’t make a fuss about strict arrival and departure times. It’s much more relaxed that way.
There’s no need to sit still. From the campsite, you can set off on a walk along the water’s edge, a cycle ride or a day’s fishing.
You can also go stand-up paddleboarding in the area. And with the IJsselmeer and Medemblik nearby, plenty of West Frisia lies at your feet.
It’s also a great place to visit with the family. According to the campsite, there are activities for all ages.
Fancy a day out? Camping Ariënstocht recommends the Steam Engine Museum and Sprookjeswonderland as day trips in the area.
