Van Stek uses equipment from Jobe and rents out SUP boards and wakeboards, amongst other things. So yes: getting wet is part and parcel of the experience.
Practical information
For stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), you can book by the hour, for two hours, three hours or a full day. The official website lists SUP prices starting at €12.50 for one hour. Guided sessions are also available. The venue is situated on Spoorstraat in Enkhuizen, close to the harbour and the town centre. There is no clear information on the official website regarding parking, dogs and accessibility. So please check this in advance if it’s important to you. For food and drink, you’ll need to make do with the local restaurants and cafés in town. These are within walking distance.

Current opening hours are not clearly stated on the official website. Visit Enkhuizen also refers visitors to the Van Stek website for opening hours. You should therefore contact them in advance. That way, you’ll know straight away whether there’s space and equipment available.

Wear clothes that can get wet. It sounds obvious, but still. Having dry socks afterwards makes your day a whole lot better.
