Hertenkamp Enkhuizen is situated right in the heart of Wilhelminaplantsoen. Here you’ll find fallow deer, a petting farm, a nature garden and a tea garden. A green space on the edge of the town centre, where children can roam freely and you can take a break from the hustle and bustle.

You can hear goats in the stable, children in the square and birds in the greenery. Fallow deer walk on the deer meadow. In the nature garden, wild plants grow and animals get their own space. From the tea garden, you look out over the meadow and the Groene Wierdijk. Little fact: the deer meadow is part of the original design of the Wilhelmina Park.
Practical information
Enkhuizen Deer Park is situated in the heart of the Wilhelminaplantsoen. Plan for a short visit or combine it with a walk through the park. You cannot drive right up to the entrance. Parking is limited in the vicinity, including in the blue zone. It’s easier to get there on foot or by bike. The cycle rack is located by the main entrance. You can enjoy food and drink in the tea garden, when it’s open.
When are you welcome?
The petting zoo, nature garden, nature playground and tea garden are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm. During school holidays, they are open every day.
