In the middle of the Wilhelminaplantsoen is Hertenkamp Enkhuizen. There you will find fallow deer, a petting zoo, nature garden and tea garden. A green spot on the edge of the city centre, where children can stroll around and you can take a break from the hustle and bustle.

For families with young children, this is a fine stop. You walk past the deer pasture, check out the goats and sheep and stroll through the nature garden. Even if you are in Enkhuizen for a city walk, you can easily grab this spot.

From the tea garden, you look out over the meadow and the Groene Wierdijk. Little fact: the deer meadow is part of the original design of the Wilhelmina Park.
Practical information
Deer Camp Enkhuizen is located in the middle of Wilhelminaplantsoen. Count on a short visit or stick to it a walk through the park. You cannot get to the entrance by car. Parking is limited nearby, including in the blue zone. Walking or cycling is easier. The bicycle shed is at the main entrance. You can eat and drink in the tea garden, if it is open.
When are you welcome?
The petting zoo, nature garden, nature playground and tea garden are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm. During school holidays, they are open every day.
